Memoir “Citizen” Revelations
Former President Bill Clinton’s newly released memoir, “Citizen,” has brought to light his much-speculated ties with Jeffrey Epstein. Clinton explicitly denies ever setting foot on Epstein’s infamous private island, Little St. James.
He articulates regret over their association, revealing in the book, “I wish I had never met him.”
OK, sure.
In his memoir, Clinton details the circumstances behind his flights aboard Epstein’s private jet. He maintains that all travel was related to the Clinton Foundation’s philanthropic projects and had no personal undertones. As the book unfolds, Clinton discusses his encounters in New York, meeting Epstein once in Harlem and another time in Epstein’s mansion. These meetings, Clinton emphasizes, centered around politics and economics rather than any scandalous activities.

Ending Association
Clinton states that he severed all ties with Epstein once Epstein’s legal problems came to public attention. Prior to Epstein’s arrest, Clinton says he was unaware of the legal troubles.
“Traveling on Epstein’s plane was not worth the years of questioning afterward,” Clinton candidly wrote, pointing out the lasting impact of these associations.
Although court documents in relation to Epstein’s associate Ghislaine Maxwell mentioned Clinton, he was never formally accused of wrongdoing.
During Epstein’s criminal proceedings, accuser Johanna Sjoberg alleged that Epstein bragged about knowing Clinton, noting, “I knew he had dealings with Bill Clinton.”
Clinton’s spokesman has denied any personal relationship between the former president and Epstein.
President Bill Clinton revealed he “couldn’t sleep for two years” and was prone to “outbursts of rage” after his wife Hillary Clinton lost to President Trump in 2016, acknowledging that he “wasn’t fit to be around.”
