Christina Hall, a famous HGTV celebrity from the show Flip or Flop, and her husband, Josh Hall, announced their divorce on Monday. Just three days before filing for divorce, Christina divulged what she thought was the “secret” to a healthy marriage.
After filing for a divorce, her words on her plans took on a somber tone. She yearned for a life devoid of stress and turmoil, where people could just be present and enjoy the ride.
In July 2021, Christina finalized her divorce from her second husband, Ant Anstead. A deleted photo from her Instagram channel included a somber photo taken from behind showing Josh hugging Christina beneath a beach shelter. She elaborated in that post that she met her future spouse during a period when she was not in a state of fear.
Christina and Josh stated in their divorce papers that they separated on July 8.
Reportedly, both spouses are requesting spousal assistance from the other, but neither is willing to pay.
Christina began her career as a TV celebrity on the hit home improvement show Flip or Flop with her first husband, Tarek El Moussa. They started dating in 2005 and were married in 2009. Their show followed their efforts to find cheap properties, gut them, and rebuild them with the hopes of making a profit when they resold them.
Tarek filed divorce papers in early 2017 and completed them in 2018. Christina started dating Ant Anstead, a British TV host, in early 2018. Hudson, their four-year-old son, was born to her in September 2019, making him Ant’s lone child. Christina announced that they were divorcing about a year later, and by June 2021, the divorce was official.
She first met Josh that spring, and he proposed in September of the following year, 2021. They tied the knot in October, but it wasn’t until April 2022 that they officially became husband and wife. In September of that year, they had a more elaborate vacation wedding in Maui, Hawaii.
