A football fan who was outside the bar at the time remembered hearing what sounded like “glass smashing” as guys started tossing bottles. Things “escalated” quickly, according to an eyewitness, whose buddy was one of the four hurt. He said those outside started hurling more bottles over the fence, and supporters inside the pub retaliated with plastic cups. Paramedics arrived in two ambulances and treated two males and two females for their injuries before transporting all four to the hospital.
