Harvard Researchers Publish Study On Hidden UFO Civilizations

Researchers from both Harvard University and Montana Technological University issued a new report this week that said it’s possible that an unidentified population that’s very technologically advanced could be living on Earth secretly.

The researchers speculated that “unidentified anomalous phenomena,” or UAP, might be living underground, walking among other humans or on the moon. UAP is basically another term that means UFOs.

In the paper that they wrote, the researchers did acknowledge that the hypothesis they were putting forward is likely to face skepticism by the overall scientific community. However, they argue that they deserve “consideration in a spirit of epistemic humility and openness.”

According to the paper, there’s a possibility of “cryptoterrestrials” being the reason that unexplainable and unidentified observations are made across the world every year.

Some of the theories that the researchers put forth in the paper include a “remnant form” of ancient civilization is still on Earth; a species that’s very intelligent somehow evolved separately from humans and remains hidden; cryptoterrestrials traveled from another planet or another period in time; or the creatures are supernatural, something like “earthbound angels.”

In addition, the paper suggests that cryptoterrestrials could be living under or in sighting hotspots including volcanoes and lakes.

There are many sightings in areas such as those because they could be either exit or entry points for hidden societies that reside deep within Earth, the researchers proposed in their paper. It’s also possible, they wrote, that other settlements of cryptoterrestrials could be in nearby places such as the moon.

Late last year, David Grush, a career official in the intelligence community, alleged that the federal government was keeping research programs about UFOs secret from the public at large. On multiple occasions, government officials have denied his claims and others like it.

The research paper does delve into the response the government has initiated to some sightings. They write that many believers think that federal agencies are “deliberately downplaying the topic or at least obfuscating the extraordinary nature of many UAP-related events.”

At the same time, they acknowledge that their claims are very extraordinary in nature. They wrote, in part:

“We entertain them here because some aspects of UAP are strange enough that they seem to call for unconventional explanations.”

A few weeks ago, Republican Representative Tim Burchett of Tennessee introduced a new bill that would require the president to direct the heads of all federal agencies and departments to declassify documents they had regarding UAPs. At the time, he said:

“It’s simple. They spend all this time telling us they don’t exist. Then, release the files.”

Burchett has been leading the charge for transparency in regard to UFOs. While many Republicans in both chambers of Congress have backed these efforts, his latest bill — called The UAP Transparency Act — was co-sponsored by Democratic Representative Jared Moskowitz, as well as Republican Representative Anna Paulina, both of whom are from Florida.
