K-Pop Star Park Bo Ram Found Dead at 30 in Friend’s House

Police are looking into the sudden death of K-POP star Park Bo Ram. She was just 30 years old.

The passing of the South Korean singer has devastated her admirers and the entertainment world. Her death and the circumstances surrounding it remain a mystery.

As verified by authorities from Namyangju Police Station, Bo Ram was reportedly drinking at a house party with two other companions. She left for the toilet at 9:55 p.m. and never came back. Her friends were worried about her whereabouts, so they went to check on her. They discovered her slumped over the sink, unresponsive.

Her friends started administering cardiopulmonary resuscitation techniques and promptly contacted emergency personnel, who then rushed her to the hospital. Sadly, Park Bo Ram was declared dead at Hanyang University Guri despite everyone’s best efforts.

The police have ordered an autopsy.

With her deep voice and unforgettable contributions to iconic K-drama soundtracks, she has been a significant player in K-pop for the last decade.

Two new songs were published earlier this year by the actor/singer-songwriter, and fresh music was in the works.

Many on X have expressed their condolences and sent well wishes to Bo Ram’s family.

After bursting on the scene a decade ago, it wasn’t long before Park Bo Ram began to rack up accolades; among them was the 2014 Gaon Chart Music Awards’ Artist of the Year. On the eve of her debut’s tenth anniversary, the legendary Ms. Bo Ram was hard at work getting ready for a return tour, performing hits like “Hyehwadong (Or Ssangmundong)” from Reply 1988 and “Please Say Something, Even Though It Is a Lie” from W – Two Worlds.

She competed on Mnet’s “Superstar K2” in 2010,  placing eighth. After releasing her first song “Beautiful” in 2014, she reached No. 2 on Korea’s pop charts.

The demands to adhere to beauty standards were the subject of that semi-autobiographical song.
