King Charles Reportedly Losing Patience With Disgraced Prince Andrew

Britain’s King Charles is “losing patience” with his disgraced brother Prince Andrew, who has refused to leave a vast Royal estate in Windsor despite being forced to step away from Royal duties five years ago. The 64-year-old Prince was stripped of several of his Royal titles by the late Queen after he was accused of sexually abusing trafficked women with his friend, Jeffrey Epstein. He continues living in the enormous mansion despite his brother withdrawing his taxpayer-funded security to force him to move out.

UK media now reports that the King has given his brother two options. He can either fund his own security and give up an allowance he receives from the Crown, or move into Frogmore Cottage – the residence of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle when they lived in Britain. King Charles will reportedly continue financially supporting his brother if he agrees to live at Frogmore. Prince Andrew has no source of income apart from the Royal allowance and would likely struggle to live on his pension from the Royal Navy, where he served for years in the 1980s.

Legal experts, however, suggest that the King may face difficulties forcing the Prince to leave as he was granted a 75-year lease in 2003 when he first moved into the 30-room mansion. The lease, however, included a clause that the Prince maintains the site, but has reportedly failed to do so, with much of it falling into disrepair.

Royal insiders told reporters that ego is causing the Prince’s stubbornness and he refuses to accept “the reality of the situation” because he is a “prisoner of his own pride.” The Prince has a national reputation as one of the more unpleasant members of the Royal family and is the least popular among the British public. Several previous staff members have spoken out about Andrew and described him as “breathtakingly arrogant” and rude to his staff. One former staffer said he would throw things on the ground and order workers to pick them up.

He has also been described as a “snob” who once caused a scene in a Melbourne airport after staff insisted he go through security checks like other passengers. “Who does he think he is? What a pompous prat,” an airport worker said.
