Leader of El Salvador Criminal Gang Arrested in Texas

The Eastern District of New York US Attorney’s Office said that after three years on the run, a fugitive commander of the MS-13 criminal gang from El Salvador was finally apprehended in Texas.

Upon his arrival at Houston, Texas’ George Bush Airport, Cesar Humberto Lopez-Larios was apprehended by the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security, according to federal prosecutors.

The deadly criminal organization apparently counts Lopez-Larios among its top leaders. He was also named as one of the 12 Apostles of the Devil, a group that has expanded from its original twelve members to fourteen.

According to the statement, Lopez-Larios is facing charges related to narco-terrorism, conspiracy to fund terrorism, conspiracy to conduct acts of terrorism that transcend national borders, and conspiracy to offer and conceal material assistance to terrorists.

Along with thirteen other defendants, he is charged with assisting in the operation of the criminal organization in the US, Mexico, and El Salvador and with ordering the commission of violent and murderous actions.

In a federal courthouse on Long Island, the accused will soon face consequences for the bloodshed and devastation caused by MS-13, which he ordered.  Two gang members are still on the run, and authorities have offered $20,000 for information that will lead to their capture and conviction.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, MS-13 has been involved in a number of violent crimes, including murder, attempted murder, assault, abduction, drug trafficking, extortion, and obstruction of justice. The group’s leaders in El Salvador have been receiving dues and the profits of illegal activities via wire transfers.

In America, members of the MS-13 gang have been found guilty of heinous acts. An Uber Eats driver in Florida was killed and mutilated in April 2023.

Randall Cooke (59) dropped off his wife on April 19 and drove to finish several engagements for Door Dash and Uber Eats, according to Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco, who stated in a media conference. She never saw him again.

To illustrate the danger of unchecked illegal migration at the US/Mexico border, former President Trump spoke of the terrorist group. The Democrats said he was racist and that he had inflated the danger to demonize immigrants and incite bigotry.
