Putin-Appointed Russian Politician Leaves Priest Husband for Billionaire

For all Russia’s tough talk about the United States being a hotbed for progressivism and infidelity – and that’s certainly true in some parts of the country – it’s clear that Vladimir Putin has problems at home, too. Reports have revealed how t he top “family values” tsar for the Kremlin has abandoned her family and priest husband in favor of a Russian billionaire…some 11 years older than her.

She sounds about as useless as a border czar in the U.S. who fails to handle the country’s skyrocketing illegal migration problem, doesn’t she?

39-year-old Maria Lvova-Belova, who was appointed by Putin just before he launched the full-scale invasion of Ukraine to become the country’s commissioner for children’s rights, has hit international headlines for choosing money over family.

And if you thought you’d heard that name before – and many of our readers are avid news junkies, we know – then it’s because she’s under sanction. Lvova-Belova hit headlines when the International Criminal Court announced that she was wanted on war crimes after illegally deporting Ukrainian children out of the country and into Russia. There, the children were sent to Russian families and camps where social workers and educators set out to integrate them into Russian society.

Before her sudden lustful U-turn, Lvova-Belova was married to Pavel Kogelman. The pair tied the knot in 2003 and had five children together. The couple then adopted another five children together, with Lvova-Belova herself having adopted a total of 18 children – some of whom were even taken from the Ukrainian city of Mariupol, which was devastated by Russian forces.

So what gives? Well, rumor has it that the sudden split came after she was seen holding Konstantin Malofeev’s hand during a church procession in Yekaterinburg last week. The footage was shared online, prompting Lvova-Belova to put her hands up and…leave.

So what about Malofeev, the 50-year-old billionaire?

Well, he’s a family man too…or at least he should be. Malofeev is heavily connected to the Orthodox Russian Church, and he’s also the founder of the conservative television network Tsargrad. He’s a vocal supporter of Putin and his war in Ukraine, and like his new lady, he’s also under sanction.

They sound like a match made in heaven…
