Sharon Osbourne Mocks Trump’s AI-Generated ‘Swifties’ Graphics

Music icon Sharon Osbourne swiped at Donald Trump after he “accepted” the endorsement of Taylor Swift fans. Generated by artificial intelligence, pictures of fictional Swift followers appearing to wear t-shirts saying, “Swifties for Trump” appeared online, and the former President seemed to believe they were genuine, prompting him to repost them under the caption, “I accept.” Osbourne attended a Swift concert in London and mocked Mr. Trump by wearing a “Taylor for President” sweater.

The reality TV star is a well-known and long-term critic of the former President, and in 2018, she told Larry King that she was fearful of his Presidency. “You don’t feel secure that everything will be smooth,” she said. When she was a contestant in Britain’s Celebrity Big Brother, Osbourne talked about spending time with Donald Trump on the Celebrity Apprentice show. While she admitted he was nice to her, she added that he treats women as disposable and only speaks to those he finds attractive.

The images of Taylor Swift fans hinted that “Swifties” decided to support Donald Trump because their idol was forced to cancel concerts in Austria after police arrested ISIS devotees planning a terror attack at one of her events. There was some debate online about the authenticity of the pictures, with some suggesting that one of the women featured is a real person. A Wisconsin media outlet indicated that 19-year-old Jenna Piwowarczyk is among them, and she is a genuine Trump supporter and a fan of Taylor Swift.

Piwowarczyk is a Concordia College student who reportedly started “Swifties for Trump” to persuade her fellow Swift fans to back the Republican candidate. In response to Trump’s controversial “acceptance” post, the student celebrated and posted a video to social media saying it is not necessary to choose between being a Taylor Swift fan and supporting conservative policies.

The singer has not, however, publicly endorsed any candidate this year, even though in 2020, she openly backed Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. Additionally, a new Twitter account, Swifties For Kamala, has gained 60,000 followers. Nevertheless, Donald Trump has questioned the singer’s views and hinted that she is not really a liberal but is merely putting on an act.
