Over the weekend, Thomas Brodie-Sangster and actress Talulah Riley got married. While some grooms worry about dealing with a difficult mother-in-law, Thomas had an even scarier thought.
The wedding was in Anstey, Hertfordshire, and apparently Elon Musk, who was married and divorced twice to Talulah, was in attendance.
Musk, being Musk, showed up at the wedding in a private jet. He was in Cannes, located in the beautiful south of France, attending a conference.
The 52-year-old Tesla billionaire has maintained a close relationship with his 38-year-old ex-wife Talulah despite their colorful love life and two divorces in 2016.
She has described him as her “ideal ex-husband.”
During a business trip, Musk crossed paths with Talulah, a local from Hemel Hempstead, Herts, at the Whisky Mist nightclub in Mayfair; she was 22 and still a virgin. Musk was her first. In a BBC documentary, Talulah shared her initial thoughts on him, describing him as sweet and somewhat shy.
Doug Milburn, her father, was not on board with their courtship. He had transitioned from being a senior policeman to pursuing a career as a screenwriter.
She shared the story of his anger when he discovered that Elon was married with five children after searching for “Elon + rocket + electric car” on Google.
Last year, Brodie-Sangster, 34, publicly announced their engagement on X, Musk’s social media platform.
The happy groom-to-be received a response from the business magnate, who was born in South Africa, offering congratulations.
Thomas excitedly shared on Instagram that the pair were engaged. At just thirteen years old, he gained fame for his role as lovesick Sam in Love Actually.
In the announcement, he wrote, “Love is all around.”—a tribute to the romantic comedy’s iconic theme song by the Troggs.
The two lovebirds happened to meet in 2021 during the production of the Sex Pistols biopic “Pistol” for Disney+.
In 2014, Musk went through a second divorce, but he ultimately decided not to pursue it.
In 2016, Talulah and Elon decided to separate permanently. It has been reported that she received a settlement of £12.5 million.
Musk, known for his concerns about population reduction, now has twelve children.
