Woman Bitten Multiple Times in Wolf Attack Outside French Zoo

On Sunday, a trio of wolves attacked a 37-year-old woman outside a zoo near Paris, injuring her severely. The mauling is presently under investigation by the authorities. The wolves bit the woman on her back, leg, and, more dangerously, her neck while visiting the Thoiry zoo, which is around 25 miles west of Paris.

Park employees heard the woman’s screams while she was being attacked, and they rushed to her aid.

At first, Maryvonne Caillibotte, the main prosecutor in Versailles, said the woman’s life was in jeopardy but later updated her condition to non-life-threatening.

After spending the night in the safari-style lodge at the zoo with her family, the woman reportedly went for a jog early Sunday morning, according to the initial inquiry results.

“Wow Safari Thoiry” CEO Christelle Bercheny said the woman walked across the reserve on foot, which is usually only accessible by vehicle.

According to Bercheny, the park had signs that reiterated the rules for staying alive. It should have been clear that this was not a great idea.

Bercheny noted that the animals in the reserves behave as if they are in the wild.

The lodges in the wolf zone provide a tranquil refuge at prices ranging from 220 to 760 euros ($235-810) each night. They promise a peaceful setting perfect for relaxing and escaping from the stresses of everyday life — providing you don’t wander alone deep into animal territory.

According to the zoo’s website, the Arctic wolf is a carnivore by nature. The zoo claims that this amazing hunter has superb hearing, smell, and sight. According to the zoo, the wolf has a dominant mother, a dominant father, and four cute cubs.

Caillibotte said that she wasn’t sure if the trail wasn’t indicated or if she had erred.

A person with knowledge of the situation has stated that the lady apparently evaded many lines of defense set up to keep the animals in their enclosure, such as surveillance systems, a trench, and an electric fence.
